Sriracha Sloppy Joes

A spicy twist on the classic that cooks in the slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (15-oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 Kaiser rolls, toasted

Directions

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook meat, breaking up, until browned.
  • Transfer to a 4-quart or larger slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients; stir to combine. Cook on HIGH heat for 2-3 hours; adjust seasoning to taste. Serve on buns.
  • Refrigerate leftovers.
