Beer-Cider Slam

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • One bottle (12 oz.) light-colored beer (that's not too bitter)
  • One bottle (12 oz.) hard cider, chilled and divided
  • 2 ounces Cointreau® Liqueur, divided
  • Apple slices and cinnamon sticks, for garnish (optional)

Directions

  • Mix together the sugar, cinnamon and salt and sprinkle on a flat plate or surface. Dip the rim of each glass into the vanilla extract, then the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Pour 6 ounces beer, 6 ounces hard cider and 1 ounce liqueur into each glass. Stir lightly with a spoon. Garnish each glass with a cinnamon stick and apple slice
  • Serve immediately.
