Product Information

  • Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rye Barrel Aged Red Blend Red Wine is inspired by American winemaker Robert Mondavi’s commitment to traditional winemaking and producing flavorful wines for modern wine lovers. A celebration of the rich tradition of winemaking, cabernet and merlot grapes are carefully picked at the peak of ripeness, and undergo fermentation in stainless steel. Select lots of the blended wines are then aged for an additional 10 months in American oak rye barrels, enhancing the wine's flavors and complexity. Black cherry, plum, boysenberry, nutmeg, and cinnamon aroma and flavor notes leap from each glass of wine, further enhanced by a long, lush finish plus a sweet smoke and dark chocolate palate. This 750 mL bottle of wine pairs beautifully with steak and charcuterie boards featuring aged cheeses. Please enjoy our wines responsibly. © 2025 Robert Mondavi Private Selection, Acampo, CA
