To achieve the 'floating' effect, the image (up to 1.5mm thick) is sandwiched between two panes of glass, allowing the image to 'float' within the frame. This beautiful walnut frame is the perfect way to display your treasured family photos or any image no thicker than 1.5mm. The frame holds up to an 11 x 14 vertical or horizontal image without the floating effect or smaller images as an 8 x 10 (pictured) or a 5 x 7 will achieve the floating effect. The frame is constructed of sturdy MDF wood. Attached hardware makes the hanging easy. Malden's frames include durable glass front that will protect and showcase your beautiful photos for years to come. Simple to load with a removable back spacer.
