This wine barrel planter is made from a reclaimed wine barrel from Sonoma CA. We have mounted rivets to the bands to keep the wine barrel held together securely. We cut drain holes into the bottom of the planter so that liquid can escape.We do recommend leaving the wine barrel in one spot once you have added your soil and plants. It is very heavy and it can damage the barrel.
