  Gesso hides the substrate with a matte white finish that accepts water-based paints. This product allows surface preparation for acrylics and oils. Paint adheres better on a primer, and it requires fewer coats to cover. Apply with a roller, paint-pad, or brush to almost any grease-free semi porous surface. It creates a matt surface with a slight tooth which may be soothed by sanding. It is suitable for interior and exterior use.
