Our taste tests have shown that once the RIDGES tickle your taste buds, consumers, like you, prefer the longer-lasting CACAO experience which comes with a little more THICKNESS per piece. So we struck a BALANCE between taste experience and maintaining that perfect bite-sized, individually wrapped TREAT! Our Belgian Dark Chocolate has simple yet quality ingredients to ensure a smooth texture and rich taste. To help support immune health, we blend in probiotic bifidobacterium longum BB536, one of the most well-established and clinically effective probiotic strains. We are not sure why many large brands add vanilla to their dark chocolate, but we believe it is to cover up the bitterness of their chocolate. No cover-ups with us. We are transparent with the taste of our cacao by leaving out vanilla and simply using quality cacao for a pure cocoa flavor. Many large brands also use soy lecithin, which is extracted using harsh chemicals. Yuck! Not with us! We use naturally extracted sunflower lecithin.
