I found a Mother's Day card my mom had saved.
Colorful stick figures showed Mom and me with
big smiles and matching outfits – I wanted
to be just like her! On Mother's Day, I couldn't
wait to tie on Mom's apron, take over the kitchen
and create a breakfast all for her.
Now
that I'm grown up, I still love treating the women
in my life to special meals. Do your grandmas,
aunts, sisters, daughters or friends mean a lot
to you? Invite your kids into the kitchen and
use these recipes to serve these important women
a 5-star brunch. Don't forget the card, and remember
the most important ingredient: love! |

To
complement a savory main dish, choose a

Orange
juice is classic, and fresh-squeezed is so simple!
To make your own, start with navel oranges, and
choose fruit that feels heavy for its size –
these are the juiciest. To make it even easier,
try an Oster Citrus Juicer. It helps you get the
most juice out of each orange, for the perfect
flavor every time.
For
a fancier spin, let her know she's special with
a Mimosa
(with champagne or sparkling cider), served up
in a champagne flute.
Don't
forget Mom's favorite coffee! You'll
find a great selection at Fred Meyer, including
Starbucks, Peet's, Tully's, Kivu and Green Mountain
Fair Trade Organic. |

also makes a cheerful centerpiece
for your brunch table.

These
recipes are also great for pampering
Mom and treating her to a morning
pajama party. Arrange it all on this
Winsome Bed Tray – with folding
legs, upright handles and genuine
wood, it makes a perfect presentation
without getting crumbs in the sheets.
