Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup corn syrup
4 large eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons Kentucky Bourbon, plus 1 teaspoon
1 1/2 cups pecans
1 cup chocolate chips
1 pie crust, 9", unbaked
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon superfine sugar

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350. Combine sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter, vanilla, flour and 2 tablespoons bourbon. Mix together until well blended. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Place pie dough into pie plate, fluting the edges, and pour mixture in top.
- Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes. Center of pie will still be a little wiggly. Cool completely.
- Meanwhile, whip together the cream, superfine sugar and 1 teaspoon bourbon. Serve pie topped with whipped cream.
