- Helpful
packaging: New Dimension Seeds
are packaged in 4"x6" moisture
resistant packets. On the back of each
packet are plant characteristics and planting
and harvesting instructions.
- Generous
amount of seeds in each packet:
Ideal for successive plantings.
- Color-coded
Selections: To help you determine
when to plant and expect to harvest, New
Dimension Seeds are divided into two color-coded
categories: spring (green packaging) and
fall (pink packaging). The spring selection
consists of vegetables that are planted
in spring, and harvested in summer and
early fall. The fall selection consists
of distinct vegetables suited for cooler
weather harvesting in the fall and even
into winter.
- Recipes
to help you enjoy your harvest: Also
on the back of each seed packet is one
special recipe that's delicious, nutritious,
and easy to prepare. Other recipes can
be found on recipe cards near the seed
racks. By combining the knowledge of the
cooking properties of Asian vegetables
with western cooking techniques, New Dimension
Seeds has created several delicious, easy
to prepare recipes. Many were created
using both mainstream American and ethnic
cooking methods that have been adapted
in America. Others were created by modifying
traditional Chinese cooking methods to
fit American tastes and cooking practices.

While
much of the information in these tips is
applicable in several gardening zones/climates,
some of the plants and timing suggested
are best suited to the Northwest, generally
in the mild/wet growing regions found along
the I-5 corridor. You should make appropriate
adjustments or consult local gardening experts
in regions whose climates differ from this
area of the Northwest.
