Champion Stem Lettuce
Although
strange looking, this vegetable is a form of lettuce
that is bred for its elongated stem. It is easy
to grow and versatile in cooking. It has a mild
flavor and crunchy texture. Marinate with salt
and vinegar and a hint of sesame seed oil or use
in stir-fries.
