How
about a unique gift... Create a "European
Flower Basket"
They're
fun and easy to create. In fact, it's a great
project to do with your kids.
- First, just pick out a decent-sized basket,
any basket you like, and line it with a piece
of plastic.
- Then start arranging your flowers. Some of
spring favorites to work with are tulips, daffodils,
hyacinth, azaleas, and African violets. It's
a good idea to leave them right in their plastic
pots because when one starts to fade, it's easy
to replace it with something new, like primroses
(don't forget to plant the faded flowers in
your garden so they'll bloom again next year).
- Last, place a layer of dried moss on top
to hide the containers and complete the look.
That's
all there is to it... you've got a beautiful basket
you just created yourself. It couldn't be easier.
And your Valentine will love it all the more because
you took the time to make it yourself. (The fact
it didn't take a lot of time can be our little
secret!)
There you go... One stop, several
great gift ideas.
Still
don't know what to give?
