Corona
Cherry Magic Dianthus
2003
All-America Selections Winner
& Fleuroselect Quality Mark Winner
Corona
Cherry Magic has the largest flowers on the market
– 2.5-3" across. The eye-catching blooms show
a capricious bi-color pattern – the flower can
be entirely cherry red, entirely lavender or a
“tie-dyed” bi-color lavender and cherry mosaic.
These
compact, extra-early blooming plants are ideal
for the garden or pots. Plants in full bloom make
nice indoor color accents for up to two weeks
before you plant them outside. Once outside you
will delight in this annual as it provides color
throughout the growing season.
Corona
Cherry Magic grows 7-9" tall, and spread from
8-10" across making these sun-lovers great for
mass planting in flower beds.

Selections.
While much of the information
in these tips is applicable in several gardening
zones/climates, some of the plants and timing
suggested are best suited to the Northwest, generally
in the mild/wet growing regions found along the
I-5 corridor. You should make appropriate adjustments
or consult local gardening experts in regions
whose climates differ from this area of the Northwest.
