- 11 –week summer program
- June through August/September
- 40 hours a week
- Program includes:
- Professional development classes
- Regular meetings with senior executives
- behind–the–scenes tours of Fred Meyer facilities (main office, stores, bakery plant, distribution center & more)

Requirements
- Junior standing in college
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Elegible to work in the United States
- Prior work experience with an emphasis on Customer Service

The Fred Meyer Internship program has been in place over 10 years, and over 200 students have participated in the program. 40% were offered full-time employment at Fred Meyer after graduation. The success of the program continues to build an ongoing pipeline of future talent. Past interns have been hired in the General Merchandise Group as Assistant Buyers and Assistant Planners, and in Product Development, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Public Affairs, Store Management and Fred Meyer Jewelers.
