Support your favorite nonprofit just by shopping at Fred Meyer with your Rewards Card. We’re donating $2.5 million each year - up to $625,000 each quarter - to the local schools, community organizations and nonprofits of your choice. All you have to do is link your Rewards Card and use it when you shop at Fred Meyer.
You are now able to link your Rewards Card to your favorite nonprofit by following the link below. Whenever you use your Rewards Card when shopping at Freddy’s, you will be helping that organization earn a donation from Fred Meyer. If you do not have a Rewards Card, you can sign up for one at the Customer Service Desk of any Fred Meyer store.

For years, the decision about which organizations Fred Meyer supported rested with a small group of employees. It wasn't transparent, nor was it necessarily the best thing for our communities. Now you can tell us where to donate our money! You can link your Rewards Cards to the nonprofit you believe is doing the most good in your community, and we'll direct donations to those organizations.
You can link your Rewards Card online at fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. You will be asked to log into your online account or create an online account. At that point you will be able to search for your nonprofit. This is an ongoing program and you may enroll at any time.
Applications for Rewards Cards are available at all registers or the Customer Service Desk at any Fred Meyer store.
Every time you shop with your linked Rewards Card at Fred Meyer, you're helping your favorite non-profit earn a donation. And, the more supporters who link their Rewards Cards to a non-profit, the more that non-profit could earn.
You can view your Community Rewards contribution in your account at fredmeyer.com/rewards. If you want to learn how much your favorite nonprofit has been awarded from Fred Meyer, you'll need to check with that nonprofit.
Any church, school or non-profit with 501 (c) 3 tax exempt status is eligible to participate in Community Rewards. Simply ask your favorite non-profit to go to www.fredmeyer.com/communityrewards and follow instructions to get the organization signed up. Once they’re signed up, you’ll be able to link your card to that organization.
If you have more than one Rewards Card in your household, they are still all connected by your address. So, Families with more than one Rewards Card within the same household may only donate collectively to one (and the same) non-profit at a time. Two Rewards Cards in the same household will not be able to be linked to two different non-profits.
You can link your Rewards Card to the non-profit of your choice at any time. Each time you shop at Fred Meyer with your Rewards Card, your shopping will be helping accrue donations for the non-profit to which you’ve linked your card.
Organizations will receive Community Rewards donation checks within 90 days of the close of each quarter. Quarters end on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.
Most purchases qualify for Community Rewards, but some items are not eligible. Those exclusions are:
You may only link your card to one organization at a time, but you may change the organization as often as you like at fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. However, we recommend changing nonprofits no more than twice per year to make a bigger difference for your nonprofit.

Now our Customers can tell us how they’d like us to donate. They can link their Rewards Cards to the non-profits they believe are doing the most good in our community, and we’ll direct donations to those organizations
Fred Meyer Community Rewards will replace donation request forms for all but very small contributions that can be handled at store level – buns for a hot-dog fundraiser, for example. We hope that non-profits can fill their donation needs from Fred Meyer by participating in Community Rewards.
The donation you receive will depend how much your donors who have linked their Rewards Card to your nonprofit shop at Fred Meyer compared to other organizations’ donors.
Fred Meyer will email you a statement with your organization’s earnings each quarter. There will not be a running tally during the quarter. The total amount awarded will depend on the total spend each quarter by all Customers whose Rewards Cards are linked to nonprofits.
Within 90 days of the end of the quarter, your organization will receive an email notifying you how much was earned through Community Reward as well as a donation check in the mail. Quarters end on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.

You must complete all fields in the online form, attach a 501(c)3 Tax Determination letter and agree to the programs’ Terms and Conditions. Within three weeks, you’ll receive a confirmation letter with your organization’s NPO number for the program and instructions on how your participants can sign up for Community Rewards.
